Rise early to the morning rays of the Sun; drink lemon water mixed with honey, and go for a morning walk. This is suggested as the best way to keep fit and healthy but along with it, few yoga exercises can make a lot of difference. If you cannot go for a walk, get on the mat and do inversions, downward dog pose, back bends or forward bends, and whatever you feel like doing, just start. In few days, the needle on the weighing machine will sure slide down.

Yoga has many asanas to burn fat, build the muscle tone and increase your flexibility. Sadguru give the example of kriya yoga when the yoga asana is done some people lose weight while the others gain weight.  If your digestive system is not good food is not easily converted into flesh, when you do kriyas, the digestive forces activates, digestive system is improved and the food is converted into fats, the result is weight gain. On the contrary, if your digestive system is fine and when you do kriyas, the food is converted into energy, this ultimately brings down the weight.

Yoga is traditionally not called the exercise but systematic movements, in one of them constitutes Upa Yoga or Angamardana. Upa Yoga is form of poses, in which you are not building your muscles but increasing flexibility of your body. Angamardana” means attaining the mastery over the limbs, organs and the remaining parts of the body. This practice is originated from the ancient yogic practices along with Kalaripayattu.
